Designing for the most part of 20years, working full time in the Print media, Dannis was one of the Prinicpal participants in the emergence of the original "Cairns Life" magazine. With a desire to further her Computer Design Skills she then went on to achieve a variety of certificates. These include : Cert III IT, Cert IV IT Multimedia (Design Elements), Cert IV Workplace Assessor and Trainer and Cert IV Small Business Management.

Dannis and her staff are also registered "Blue Card" holders.

Meanwhile back at the ranch Dannis had learnt leadlighting 18years beforehand whilst at home for a year with her baby daughter Taylor. Continuing always with leadlighting as A hobby, the stress of industry was taking it's toll. Ahh!!!

Recovering from a 3 year illness Dannis decided to take a risk, make a major life change and do what she loves best. Whilst getting her "Glass" work known through a variety of channels, Dannis discovered many people had the same need to unwind, take a back seat to the daily grind and express themselves through Art. "Stress is a Killer".

Starting the teaching element of the "Designer Glass Art" studio was an instant success. 5 years on and with many happily skilled students passed through our doors the enjoyment in teaching is still unsurpassed.
